The 1st Steering Committee Meeting of the “Türkiye’s Net Zero Emission Roadmap for Transport” Project, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, was successfully held.
During the meeting, the project’s progress, strategic outputs, and collaborative steps towards achieving the 2053 net zero target were discussed with stakeholders.

The event highlighted Türkiye’s sustainable transport vision, with sessions featuring high-level speakers and a presentation of key project components supported by the EU and Türkiye.

As part of the “Türkiye’s Net Zero Emission Roadmap for Transport” project, the third training module was successfully delivered on 19–20 March 2025 with 42 to 35 participants. The module focused on the EU and Türkiye’s climate action frameworks, policy alignment, and key commitments.

The “Türkiye’s Net Zero Emission Roadmap for Transport” focus group workshop, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, focused on strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector. Sessions on road, rail, and urban transport explored short-, medium-, and long-term action plans to achieve the 2053 net zero target.
